What is the CVV/CVV2/CVC?

The Card Verification Value (CVV) is a three or four-digit value that provides a cryptographic check of the information embossed on each card.

This code can usually be found on the backside of the card or on the front side of the virtual cards.

It is requested during all online transactions as a safety reason.
