Why do I have to withdraw using the same method I used to deposit?

At Betano, we apply a correlation policy between deposit and withdrawal methods. This policy helps ensure the security of your transactions and guarantees that withdrawn funds are sent only to the registered account holder.

What is the correlation policy?

Whenever possible, withdrawals should be made using the same method used for the deposit. This helps to:

  • Ensure the funds reach only the account holder.

  • Prevent unauthorized use of funds.

  • Comply with security and anti-fraud regulations.

How does this apply in Ecuador?

Currently, available withdrawal methods on the platform are:

  • Bank transfer

  • Payphone

  • Cash withdrawal

  • Crypto

📌 Example:
If you deposited using Payphone, your withdrawal will be processed via Payphone.

In all cases, the withdrawal must be made to a method registered under the same name as the Betano account holder.

What if the original method is no longer available?

If your original deposit method is no longer available, the system will automatically reassign the withdrawal to another compatible method, always ensuring that it belongs to the account holder.
